J.J.Watt may be the best player in the NFL, has never absent in the previous eight games, still not sure when will return to the stadium.
The Houston Texans defensive end disclosed the latest developments of his back surgery done in the offseason, but the bad new is still not sure when he will return to the stadium, what’s worse, he may miss the regular-season opener against Chicago Bears.
The injuries of 2015 season may cause Watt’s absence this time, though he won the best defensive player award in that season.
“It was the roughest year of my career, there’s no question,” Watt said Sunday. “But that’s something that comes along with playing in the NFL. You’re going to put your body through the ringer. You’re going to go out there and play hurt. That’s just the way it goes in the league.
Watt spent his whole 2015 season with a broken hand and a torn groin, in addition to that, he was marred by the herniated disk and had to surgery to fix the groin issue earlier this offseason.
After the opener against Bears, Texans will face the competitions against Patriots and Chiefs, and this is a daunting challenge for the Texans that lack of their trump.
